One fascinating bay was discovered by the portuguese sailor André Gonçalves on january 6th of 1502, "Dia de Reis Magos". Because of that they named this new village Angra dos Reis.

The city has a true vocation for tourism. The people are very hospitable, 365 islands - most of them with no inhabitants- and 2000 beaches of all kind, true enjoyment to the visitors that tour on the Ilha Grande bay. You can rent a schooner only for you and your group, if you want to create your own ride, or you can board on one of our daily tours, and travel through one of the following routes, apreciate the several stops for bathes along the tour, having lunch in one of the best restaurants installed all over the islands.
